What an amazing day.

Many athletes were competing for the first time, or at a brand new level or in a new discipline. That makes our results even more incredible.
We are really proud of every single athlete and also want to say a big thank you to all our Superstar parents, family and supporters. Without your ongoing support your athletes would not be able to achieve what they have and without your attention to detail on competition day we may not have had such a great day.
STRIVE - Youth 1 Stunt - 4th Place
You ladies have come so far since you started working together. You've all improved your skills, knowledge, focus and technique. Your division was extremely tough and you performed your routine to near perfection. Well done for all the steps forward you've taken this season. Well done for all the steps forward you've taken this season.
STRIDE - Junior 2 Stunt - 3rd Place
Ladies we know it wasn't your cleanest run and naturally that is a shame. Despite the issue you had at the beginning of the routine you carried on and hit the rest of your skills. That is the mark of maturity and professionalism and we are so proud of you for being able to do that.
SUNSHINE - Mini 1 Stunt - 2nd Place
Little ladies of Sunshine – look at what you did! Only a few weeks ago you weren’t even a team. You’ve worked together, you’ve learnt and improved on your skills and you performed your whole routine cleanly and with confidence. Well done. We can’t wait to get back to training to hit an even stronger routine at our next competition.
SALVATION - Senior 4.2 Cheer - 2nd Place
Team – every single one of you is new at this level this year. Many of you have done a 2 level jump in under a year. That’s ambitious. You did a fantastic job with the majority of your routine and now we just need to address the confidence and clarity of a few tiny moments. We’ve said all along that you have greatness within you – this is just the beginning of your journey at this level and we’re so confident that things will be getting even better going forwards. Before our work is done we be telling our audiences that they ‘Better hold your breath, we’re here to thrill the Nation. This, is Superstars Salvation.’
STORM – Junior 2 Cheer – 2nd Place
You have overcome so many challenges this term and to band together, put on such an amazing performance with such high difficulty and trust each other so much is a serious inspiration. The only team that beat you had athletes who have been stunting and tumbling at level 2 for over 3 years. Many if not most of you have only embraced this level this season.
We honestly could not be more proud. Let’s get back to training to see if we can take on even more teams at our next competition and show them that ‘This is the calm, before the Storm’.
SHOWCASE - Senior HipHop - 2nd Place
You got your snarl on. This team had a number of athletes new to hiphop (or even dance at this level) and yet your pulled off an impression, professional, scary and creepy routine. WOOO! The scores being so close makes this a little tough but it gives us the fire to fight so much harder between now and the end of the season for higher recognition going forwards. 'I'm nuts, baby I'm mad, the craziest friend that you've ever had. You think I'm pyscho, you think I'm gone. Tell the psychiatrist something is wrong. I'm out of my head, totally bonkers, you like me best when I'm off my rocker. Tell you a secret, I'm not alarmed. So what if I'm crazy, the best people are!'
SURGE - Youth Prop Jazz – 1st Place
It’s amazing to see how far this routine and you all as individuals have come already this season. Most of you had no experience in Jazz before this season and coach Cailigh set you some serious challenges but you met them head on. Your uniformity, technique, focus and performance have all come so far already. Now we are set to build on those foundations and strengthen your routine and performance from those gorgeous smiles down to your pointed toes.
SMOULDER – Open 1 Cheer– 1st Place
Let’s get a bunch of adults together, half of whom have never cheered before, and make a cheer team. Oh wait, let’s make a competitive cheer team with as high difficulty as possible. You have all been an utter pleasure to work with. See you all trust each other and build belief in yourselves has been amazing. Your performance was just wonderful (especially considering your confidence level earlier in May) and you should be incredibly proud of yourselves and please remember that ‘So many things are better when they’re older, this is Superstars Smoulder.’
SWAGGER – Youth 3 Stunt – 1st Place
Brand new level this season, brand new flyer this term and you come away with a brand new title! Every athlete in this team earns their place every single week. You all work and fight so hard. Not many teams could help a level 1 flyer become a confident level 3 flyer in under 10 hours but you did it through your technique and trust. You should all be deeply proud of yourselves and your team mates. We are looking forward to getting back to training to finesse some of your skills and make some tiny adjustments. But at all times please remember that ‘No one on the floor has got a Swagger like us’.
SMASH – Junior 3 Stunt – 1st Place
Last term we had to make some major changes and face some serious challenges but you’ve all proved that Smash is a team to believe in and that you could earn another title. They way you helped and trusted each other has been inspiring. Seeing the leadership some of you have shown has also helped you in what you’ve achieved. The performance level of the whole routine took a giant step forward this weekend and that’s amazing. Well done to you all. ‘Time to bring the flash, it’s Superstars Smash.’
SENSATION – Open Jazz – 1st Place
What do you mean we had another team against us that we didn't know about and they are from a Worlds level program and we just beat them? Are you sure? That doesn't sound right. BUT IT IS. You not only went out and hit a beautiful and deeply emotional routine but you did it after the arena had been partying for 15 minutes! That is incredible. So many of you dug so deep for this performance and opened yourselves up in a way you haven’t ever done before. It was an utter privilege to witness this.
STUN – Youth 1 Cheer – 1st Place
Not only did many of you compete for the first time ever this weekend but you performed your routine strongly and beat 13 other teams when you did it. We hope this win will give you even more focus and confidence to put even more skills on the floor at your next competition. The leadership some of you display, the support of each other and the trust you all place is so moving. We don’t know if you saw how many supporters and parents were in tears at your performance – but there were many. We also want to say how impressed we were with your sportsmanship during awards once you knew how well you’d done. You waited to celebrate for when your name was announced and thus allowed all the other high placing teams to have their own moment of celebration. That shows so much maturity and respect and that makes us so proud.
