Cheer Training with Superstars

 

What is it like to train with Superstars?  Well to start with, know that you'll be surrounded by experienced and highly knowledgable coaches and friendly, supportive team mates.  Our coaches will get to know you and your abilities and then they will be helping you push beyond your current limitations into acheiving new skills.

 

 

 

While every session is different due to the needs of the team at that time of year, a typical training session will run like this:

 

  • Warm up including mobility, dynamic stretches and preparatory static stretches.  

  • Functional Conditioning.  Strengthening exercises that teach movements we want to replicate later in the session.

  • Ground-bound skills review e.g. tumble, jumps, dance, motions and blocking.

  • Stunts.

  • Consolidation.  Putting it all together within the routine choreography and to music.

  • Cool down with developmental and/or PNF stretches.

  • Final team circle where we give praise, notices and awards before closing the session.   

 

We are working to build a huge range of skills and drills videos to help our cheerleaders progress even faster using this at-home support.
