National Champions 2011
The Reading Superstars took home a coveted National Champions banner and trophy from the biggest competition in the UK this weekend, Future Cheer Internationals, for the Showstoppers youth jazz team. Following a challenging term, our dancers showed what they're made of on the floor and that is pure champion spirit. The team earned their way into the new addition at competition, the winners room, where they took some special pictures and received a medal each commemorating their win.
Other fantastic results include Superstar Shock taking 3rd in Senior Level 3 cheer and our Sparklers and Stun teams climbing half way through the divisions to take 8th place each. Shimmer outdid themselves with the cleanest routine they have ever performed and will be working on maxing out the skill level going forward to ensure placings reflect this hard work. Superstar Supreme senior open co-ed 3 brought home 4th against tough competition from a number of university teams.
The team had a great time at the beach and hotel during the weekend where members from all teams had fun together in the sea, sand and pool. The coaching staff are immensely proud of all Superstars for their hard work and would like to extend a special thank you to all who helped make the weekend possible.
